458. Hundred, etc
(X) The town has fifty thousands people.
(O) The town has fifty thousand people.
Note: Hundred, thousand, and million take the plural form if they're not preceded by "a numeral or by a".
Thousands of people were present.
Our club has two thousand members nationwide. 
These carvings were all done over a thousand years ago.

459. Sheep
(X) Ten sheeps are grazing the field.
(O) Ten sheep are grazing in the held.
Note: Sheep, deer, salmon, and a few other nouns have the same form for singular and plural
We say one sheep or ten sheep.

460. Knowledge
(X) Karen has good knowledges of history.
(O) Karen has a good knowledge of history.
Note: Knowledge is sometimes used with "a", but "only in the pattern" "a knowledge of something" 
(or a good/deep/thorough etc knowledge of something). The usual preposition that follows knowledge is of.
Effective use of language necessitates a good knowledge of grammar.
