The United States is making last minute preparations for national elections on Tuesday, November 3. President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are the two main candidates for president. Trump is the choice of the Republican Party. The Democratic Party chose Biden as its nominee. The two men disagree about most issues. Their differences provide voters with clear choices for the direction of the country over the coming four years.

Kang Nara is in her Seoul, South Korea studio preparing to record a YouTube program. The 23-year-old fled North Korea six years ago. Today, her YouTube channel has 20 million views. In her videos, she shares personal stories about life in North Korea. She talks about things such as women’s rights, clothing choices, and people who flee the country. She says she is trying to show South Koreans a side of North Korea they may not have seen before. In recent years, YouTube has seen a major rise in North Korean defector channels. North Koreans in the South have become more involved in telling their own stories. And they are getting lots of followers, said Sokeel Park. He is with the group Liberty in North Korea.

Shodai Horiren got her first tattoo on a trip to Australia nearly 30 years ago. Now, she is tattooed from head to foot. She even has tattoos on the skin on her head. Horiren is one of Japan’s most well-known traditional tattoo artists. “Your house gets old, your parents die, you break up with a lover, kids grow and go,” she said. But a tattoo is with you until die and are buried. The 52-year-old spoke with Reuters reporters from her tattoo business north of Tokyo.
