Request for Extension of Time on Promissory Note

Dear

According to the terms and conditions of the promissory note I signed on June 15, 2017, 
I am obligated to tender my payment in the amount of $5,000 to you on June 15, 2017.
* according to ~ = ~에 따르면/ terms and conditions = 조건/ promissory note = 약속 어음
* be obligated to ~ = ~할 의무가 있다/ tender = 지불하다, (채무 변제로서) (돈, 물품을) 제공하다 

I have just been informed that funds which were to be paid to me prior to the due date 
on the note, have been delayed. Needless to say, this comes as a great disappointment to me.
I have been assured, however, that these funds will be in my possession by June 7, 2017.
* prior to ~ = ~에 앞서, 먼저/ due date = 만기일, 지불 기일/ needless to say = 말할 필요도 없이
* assure = 보장하다; 확언[확약]하다/ possession = 소유, 소지, 보유

I am requesting that the due date on the promissory note be extended for a period of one month 
and a just consideration for said extension be suggested by you.
* extend = 연장하다/ said = 앞에서 언급한
