* 조동사 May(might)의 용법
may는 "~인지도 모른다"는 추측의 뜻을 갖는다. 또 "might have+과거분사"의 형태가 되면
"~이었는지도 모른다"라는 과거의 일에 대한 추측을 나타내게 된다.

1. 당신은 성공할지도 모른다.
You may succeed. 

2. 그것은 사실이 아닐지도 모른다. 
It may not be true.

3. 내가 그때 거기에 있었다면 그렇게 말했을지도 모른다.
If I had been there then, I might have said so.
