* torpor /*tɔ:ːrpə(r)/ = (n) (사람이) 무기력, 무활동; 무감각, 둔함
= a state of physical or mental and motor inactivity with partial or total insensibility; lethargy

* sink into ~ = (어떤 감정, 상태에) 빠져들다
= ​to go gradually into a less active, happy or pleasant state; lapse or fall into a particular state or condition
