58, 59. As on a heap of rubbish cast upon the highway the lily will grow full of sweet perfume
and delight, thus the disciple of the truly enlightened Buddha shines forth by his knowledge among
those who are like rubbish, among the people that walk in darkness.
한길가에 버려진 쓰레기더미 속에서도 은은하게 향기를 뿜으며 연꽃이 피어오르듯이
如作田溝 近于大道 中生蓮花 香潔可意
여작전구 근우대도 중생연화 향결가의
버려진 쓰레기처럼 눈먼 중생들 속에 있으면서도 바르게 깨달은 사람의 제자는 지혜로써 찬란히 빛나리라.
有生死然 凡夫處邊 慧者 出 爲佛弟子
유생사연 범부처변 혜자락출 위불제자
