144. Like a well-trained horse when touched by the whip, be active and lively, and by faith, by virtue, by energy,
by meditation, by discernment of the law you will overcome this great pain (of reproof), perfect in knowledge and
in behavior, and never forgetful.
채찍을 받은 좋은 말처럼 부지런히 힘써 수도하라. 믿음과 계율과 정진으로 정신을 모으고 진리를 찾아 지혜와 덕행을
갖추고 깊은 생각으로 고통에서 벗어나라.
如策良馬 進退能遠 人有信戒 定意精進 受道慧成 便滅衆苦
여책양마 진퇴능원 인유신계 정의정진 수도혜성 편멸중고
